In 1974 Vern & Gloria Rozman purchased Gray Lumber and changed the name to Waukesha Building Center. The "Center" featured a lumber yard, True Value Hardware Store, and a cabinet showroom and warehouse.
In 1994, a huge fire changed our direction and focus. The lumber yard and store were lost. Vern & Gloria decided not to rebuild those, and just continue to focus on cabinets.
In 2000, we decided to change our name from G & V Distributing (which builders still know us by) to The Cabinet Place to better identify our business to our customers.
You will receive exceptional customer service at our "place." We're not in a high traffic area which keeps our overhead low. Our customers are loyal friends who tell their friends and family about us. It is still owned and operated by the Rozman family and employees who have become like family.

I have always had a passion for design (I think it's in my blood) and I was excited to use what I have learned to assist me in sales. I thoroughly enjoy working with customers and love the challenge of space management. It's more fun than work!

I feel like I've done my job when a project is complete and the customer is completely satisfied with the end result. Like any project commercial or residential you have a problem to solve or parameters to work within and I like the challenge in providing the solution.
